Carta de Emma Callender, codirectora artística de Theatre Uncut.

Dearest Sebastian,

I hope this finds you well and happy. I am so sorry that it has taken me until now to get in touch personally to say how incredibly happy and overwhelmed I am to learn of all of the important things you managed to do with Theatre Uncut last year. We work so hard, for no money, so often our time is taken with the immediate demands of the project. I want to say how impressed I am with the work you created and how humbled I am that the material we helped to create made an impact so far away from our home. I know Yucatan from spending time there with friend from DF so the images I have of your performances made me smile so deeply.

I'd love to hear whether you've been able to use the plays further since November, I really hope so.

We also have a new collection of plays being released on the 1st September. The provocation we have set the writers this time is "Do we all get more right wing in hard times?" they have all been written by writers with English as a first language this year, we realised we needed some further support to be able to sustain the international scripts, so hopefully we'll be able to build on that next year.

I'd love to make more of a connection with you also, to hear more about your work, and whether there are ways we can work more directly together.

So I look forward to hearing from you and send you my deepest respect.

All the very best,

Emma.
